This dynamic composition of kozo paper, sometimes embedded with gold leaf, cotton paper, rice straw paper, or plant-infused paper, is sewn with silk thread onto a linen canvas.

Cette composition dynamique de papier kozo, parfois incrusté de feuille d’or, de papier coton, de papier paille de riz ou encore de papier incrusté de végétaux, est cousue au fil de soie sur une toile de lin. Ce fil qui travaille souvent dans l’ombre, caché par les pétales qu’il soutient, se montre. Il brille enfin sous la lumière, mais sur la pointe des pieds sous les traits du point japonais. C’est bien lui, ce fil, qui porte l’œuvre ensemble. Il nous rappelle par son intermittence, le pointé de l’aiguille, l’outil et le geste. Sur la toile ou sur la peau.

Questa composizione dinamica di carta kozo, talvolta impreziosita da foglia d’oro, carta di cotone, carta di paglia di riso o carta con inserti vegetali, è cucita con filo di seta su una tela di lino.
