Why paint illusion now? Because contemporary life is increasingly being shaped through constructed realities. Screens, reflections, media, and artificial intelligence constantly mediate our experience of truth. Opportunities
for deception have multiplied, and the lines between what is real and what is not have blurred and are becoming more unrecognizable day by day.
The illusion of realities between constructed boarders has become central to my work. I am interested in how linear perspective, reflection, fragmentation, and color can alter a viewer’s sense of reality. I want space to feel both convincing and unstable: architectural forms dissolving into atmosphere, figures disappearing into color, reflections breaking apart the body.
